• Account information: your name, email address, phone number, rank or affiliation, and a unique user ID created when you register.
• Content you submit: events, volunteer opportunities, announcements, photos, files, support messages, and any other information you choose to provide.
• Volunteer records: sign-ups, shift assignments, attendance status, and verified or submitted volunteer-hour records.
• Communications: messages you send to support, feedback, and correspondence with administrators or coordinators.
• Uploaded media: photos, flyers, profile images, or other files you upload to the app.
• Usage and device data: product-interaction data such as the features you use, pages you visit, and crash or error data used to maintain and improve performance.
• Technical data: browser or device type, operating system, IP address, and authentication timestamps used to keep your account secure.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and maintain your account and authenticate your sign-ins.
• Provide app functionality, including event calendars, volunteer feeds, DFAC menus, and notifications.
• Review and approve submissions before they appear publicly.
• Track volunteer participation, verify hours, and coordinate shifts.
• Send reminders, updates, and support messages you request or opt into.
• Maintain security, investigate abuse, and enforce community guidelines.
• Improve performance, fix bugs, and understand how the app is used.

Sharing and selling

Cannon Central does not sell your personal information. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising purposes. Information is shared only when necessary to operate the service — for example, with an event coordinator who needs to confirm attendance, a supervisor who verifies volunteer hours, or when required by law to protect the security of the service.

Data security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections, secure authentication, access controls, and regular review of our infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we encourage you to use a strong password and keep your account credentials private.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies. When you delete your account, personal information is removed or anonymized in accordance with our deletion process.

Account and data deletion

You can delete your account and associated data from the Settings page. Deletion requires password confirmation and removes personal profile data, saved preferences, and user-created records. Some information may be retained in anonymized form or as required by law.

Children's privacy

Cannon Central is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us so we can remove it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Request deletion of your account and data.
• Object to or limit certain processing of your information.
